ERCP is the process of imaging the biliary tract and pancreatic duct from the opening we call the orifice where the biliary tract opens up to the 12 finger intestines with an endoscopy device through the mouth.

ERCP procedure is generally used for obstructions due to stones and tumors in the bile and pancreatic ducts and is one of the least harmful procedures to be performed in the treatment of these diseases.
